From it's inception in 2003 The Bone and Biscuit's founder, Lee Drescher, has had a clear vision of wanting to offer a unique service to discerning and health conscious pet owners. Since the opening of the fi rst store in Edmonton, Alberta in 2003 the Bone and Biscuit concept has expanded it's product line to include raw natural food, the finest high quality healthy dry foods, unique bakery goods, clothing for pets, a comprehensive range of "boutique" toys and general care items for everyday use.

Sales performance has shown steady and strong growth since the opening of the Edmonton outlet leading to 10 further stores opening across Canada by 2010 and continuing demand from new potential franchisees.

To meet this demand the Company has embarked on a more aggressive expansion plan by strengthening it's management team with experienced individuals and planning to open at least 5 - 10 new outlets every year whilst maintaining it's core values embodied in the company mission statement:
